Maintenance routines for vehicles, equipment, pipelines, storage tanks and containers that are stored outdoors are all part of your facility’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). But when the Best Management Practices (BMPs) outlined in your plan aren’t effective in preventing oil, sediment, metals and other pollutants from getting into storm drains or entering waterways your facility could face Stormwater Notice of Violations (NOVs),  or other enforcement actions.

Updating your Stormwater BMPs to include newer, more effective control technologies can prevent NOVs. New technologies can also simplify routine maintenance tasks and save you time and money.
